Attendant Care

Attendant Care is a service the helps individuals do things that they cannot do for themselves, so they may remain in their own or family home and participate in community activities. Attendant care services include help in the areas of personal hygiene (i.e. bathing, toileting, oral hygiene, etc.) and any other self-care area (i.e. dressing, medication administration, eating etc.)
Attendant Care services are authorized by the Arizona Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD). The number of hours approved are based on the needs assessment conducted by DDD for each individual child. To be eligible for funding, families must be approved through Arizona Long Term Care Services (ALTCS). We are happy to help you through this process.
Who Receives Attendant Care?
Attendant Care services can be approved for individuals of various ages and disabilities that meet DDD’s qualifying criteria, after the support coordinator completes a needs assessment.
