Respite

Respite is a service that relieves the primary caregiver on a short-term basis. It is designed to give the parent or unpaid caregiver a break or time for themselves. The provider assumes responsibility for the individual, ensures their safety, and cares for the individual while the primary caregiver is away. Respite can be provided on an hourly or daily basis.
Who Receives Respite Care?
Respite care can be approved for individuals of various ages that need supervision to supplement care or provide relief for the primary caregiver.
