2024 Summer Day Program

day programs 4

Join us this year for our Summer Day Programs!

June 3rd - July 31st

Our program is unique in that we offer a small group with

individualized support for your children.

Childrens Program:

12PM - 4PM

Adult Program:

8AM-4PM

Our Summer Programs include small and large group activties, crafts, and field trips. Additionally, for our program for children, we are excited to collaborate with Spark Performing Arts to allow children the opportunity to particpate in a full Junior production of Peter Pan. Whether it be on stage, behind the scenes, or helping our with production, this is a special opportunity to help your child gain confidence, have fun, and learn special skills. Our program is designed to improve social and motor skills, and increase confidence in each individual.

SPARK PERFORMING ARTS
This summer we are collaborating with Spark Performing Arts to provide your children with the opportunity to be apart of a Junior production of Peter Pan. Whether it be on stage, behind the scenes, or helping our with production, this is a special opportunity to help your child gain confidence, have fun, and learn special skills. Our program is designed to improve social and motor skills, and increase confidence in each individual. Being apart of a musical production improves the motor skills of children, as well as their confidence in social and group settings. Each child will be able to have the opportunity to perform if they desire, as well as help with the creation of the production. Involvement in the production will come at no extra charge of the child.

FIELD TRIPS
We believe that learning to function in the community should be an essential part of any child’s development. As such, we will strive to offer two community access field trips each week for the children to participate in. Trips may be simple (i.e. a trip to the store, library or post office), or may be more involved, (i.e. trips to the museums, fire station, or riding public transportation). If you have any field trip requests or concerns please let us know. We welcome parents to participate in these trips, however, parents may need to provide their own transportation.

LUNCH
Eating lunch together allows the children an opportunity to interact, improve their social skills and practice
appropriate table manners. We ask that each child bring their own sack lunch each day. A refrigerator,
microwave and toaster oven are available for food storage and preparation. We have a large group, so we ask that you limit sending food that requires the use of the microwave or toaster oven, whenever possible. TLC Services will provide a daily snack, however, we gladly accept donations of any snack items (i.e. crackers, juice, fruit veggies, etc.). Please let us know if your child has any food allergies or diet restrictions.

ATTENDANCE
As in previous years, our program is full and carrying a wait list. If your child does not attend, is late, or leaves
early, TLC Services does not receive compensation for those hours. In order to ensure availability of funds for
program materials, activities and field trips, it would be helpful for us to know ahead of time if your child will not be attending. By notifying us now of any pre-planned absences during the Summer Program dates we can schedule staffing as needed. As previously mentioned, our program runs five days per week for four full hours. If you are unable to commit to this schedule, please inform us so that we can make appropriate arrangements.
